Simple Skyp Socks (left) and Skyp Rib Socks (right) – I designed these two sock patterns based on one of my favorite stitches for socks. I can’t recall where I first saw this stitch or if “skyp” was the actual abbreviation that was used. All I do know is that I love this stitch, the abbreviation makes sense to me and I have been using them both for years.
These patterns have not yet been test knit, other than by myself. Please feel free to contact me if you have any problems or questions. Enjoy.

I just wanted to thank you for the pattern. I just finished the Simple Skyp Socks. It was a fun knit, and the directions were great. I modified the pattern slightly, just because I don’t seem to be able to ever knit a pattern exactly as it is written.
Hello Drin,
I try to make this beautiful skyp socks for my husband, but I can`t translate it in german. Please can you help me?

Great socks! thanks for sharing your pattern. I have made several pairs of socks–but none with a pattern. I may try these. I want the socks to fit in my shoe, so I have avoided most patterned socks. I like the way you only did the pattern on the top of the foot.
